Jen, do you follow my blog because I recently blogged a sequal to my Giant Asparagus blog.
Classic I tell you.
Here is what I do-- I ask God to take me out of my own head and look around for things that are interesting or profound or quirky or meaningful even sometimes. And it helps me be optimistic about my life. I also have a cheap digital camera I keep and snap pics as I go along. The other day I got some cool pics of a hummingbird while I was waiting for my McDonalds order. It was so pretty and I thought about how cool it is that God created birds and bees to pollenate and how colorful flowers are and wasn't it nice that He decided we needed pretty things etc.....
Wow, that WAS profound!

Luann, I love reading your blogs!! So funny! I have a camera too... I need to just start using it more. I actually took some pretty amazing pictures today at work... I think a blog will be posted by tonight about it. Thanks for the ideas! I need to keep my eye our for inspirations like you do :D
I follow Missy's logic and I concur. However, if you're going to blog about Rhode Island, then you have to blog about Lake LA.
